Level Designer & Artist
I’m proud to say that I started my professional career within the games industry working as a Level Designer and Artist on this title that was released for PC in January 2011. It was a lot of work but I had a great time and I learned a lot over the months I got to spend on it.
My work included everything from modeling, texturing and lighting a level to placing props and scripting events. I also worked a lot with creating props and different items in the game.
About Magicka
Magicka, as I would describe it, is an up to 4 player co-op madness game with a dynamic spellcasting system that creates hilarious, epic and sometimes awkward moments filled with stunned “wtf was that”- exclamations. You play as wizards whom are going to save the world from chaos. It’s an adventure to say the least where you have to learn how to control you spells to prevent too much friendly fire, unless you friend has it coming…
DLC Work
Over the year 2011 I worked on several of the Magicka DLCs, two of the largest ones were the “Magicka Vietnam” and “The Stars Are Left” expansions.
On these two I worked primarily on Level Design and Environment Art.
